Chakra Tea Rituals

This chakra tea ritual is an accessible way to get in touch with your chakra system, identify potential imbalances, and take mindful steps toward greater balance and healing.

Scan your body: Do you feel any sensation? If so, what do you feel and where? What about your mind? Is it steering you in a particular direction? Try to listen to your body and identify where it needs attention. Use our diagram to determine what chakra center might be associated with any sensations you’re feeling.

Brew tea: Now that you know which chakra you are focusing on, select the tea that aligns with it. Take your time brewing this tea and try to minimize distraction as much as possible.

Get cozy: Find a comfortable place to sit where you won’t be disturbed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to calm your mind and body.

Set your intention: Take a moment to set your intention. Ask yourself what you would like to learn from the chakra and place your focus there.

Focus on the chakra: As you sip your tea, focus your attention on the location of the chakra. Visualize the color associated with the chakra. Breathe in the aroma of the tea.

Visualize: Visualize the color associated with the chakra hovering around your body. Visualize the color breaking up any tension or negativity that may be blocking the flow of energy.

Meditate: While you drink your tea, take some time to meditate. When you become of the mind wandering, gently steer it back to focus on the chakra.

Journal: Now that you’ve experienced the vibrations of the chakras, integrate your new feelings or knowledge with a little journaling.
