We source tea directly from small, biodynamic farms around the world and use the best quality, certified organic herbs we can find.  Our blends are simple so that you can taste each and every ingredient - we would never use added flavors or colors. Title: Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Systems Improvement - Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Planning - Purchase materials & supplies, plan inventory, oversee production and warehouse efficiency.
Record Keeping - Maintain daily GMP/ FSMA/ HAACP/ Organic Certification logs and audits.
Shipping/ Receiving - Ensures adequate inspection practices for all inbound and outbound products, to certify they meet proper quality and regulatory standards.
Fulfillment - Manage order fulfillment and optimize service and cost for outbound shipping. 
Communication - Liaise and communicate all necessary operational daily production planning activities with manager, Sales and other appropriate team members.
Supports other activities and projects as assigned based on business priorities.

     

    Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

    Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or Associate’s Degree in a related area such as Logistics, Transportation, and/or Warehousing is desirable.
    Three - five years supervisory experience in production, distribution or related industry desired.
    Knowledge of food safety, food defense, audits and inspections in the distribution industry is desirable.
    Strong leadership attributes.
    Experience with Quickbooks, Shipstation, Shopify and Excel
    Reliable, flexible, adaptable, responsible and proactive; enjoys producing quality products.
    Good math skills; metric knowledge helpful
    Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment which includes frequent: standing, kneeling, bending, grasping and twisting
    Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

       

      Position is Monday-Friday, 8-5pm. Salary is $45-50k annually with full medical benefits.  2 weeks paid time off and 7 company-wide holidays annually.

      Title: Customer Journey Specialist

       

      GENERAL OVERVIEW 

      CUSTOMER SERVICE - manage retail and wholesale customer service communication via various company inboxes and social media platforms, track customer service (quality control and lost/ return) claims activity and report weekly 
      CUSTOMER CARE - provide support and solutions to customers that ensure they are BHT’s priority. We do this by understanding their customer journey and empathizing with their experiences
      FULFILLMENT - manage e-commerce and wholesale fulfillment logistics, coordinate with USPS and UPS, workstation management (40 percent of job responsibilities)
        ADMINISTRATIVE - Assist Founder and VP Operations on as needed basis 

           

          REQUIREMENTS

          Experience with MS Office, Quickbooks, Shopify,  Shipstation, Zendesk
          Excellent verbal and written communications skills
          Ability to work independently in sometimes ambiguous environments with while managing concurrent tasks
          Ability to communicate effectively 

             

            COMPENSATION

            40 hours per week, $18 an hour,  8:30-5pm Monday - Friday, full medical benefits.  2 weeks paid time off and 7 company-wide holidays annually.

            Title: Fractional Social Media  Manager

             

            GENERAL OVERVIEW 

            INFLUENCERS - create influencer program, manage influencer engagement, coordinate influencer posts
            BRAND COLLABS - create and manage monthly giveaways 
            ENGAGEMENT - monitor direct messages, engage with followers
              REPORTING - report weekly social trends

                 

                REQUIREMENTS

                Experience with social media platforms, Later, excel
                Excellent verbal and written communications skills
                Ability to work independently in sometimes ambiguous environments with while managing concurrent tasks

                  COMPENSATION
