Pink Iced Hibiscus Tea is a Healthy Alternative
When it comes to making iced tea for kids, looks are everything. Fortunately, our Blushing tea brews super pink and basically looks like a refreshing glass of fruit punch, only without sugar, added colors or unnatural flavor. It’s just hibiscus, lemongrass and tulsi and it’s 100% organic.Â

Make it at home, it's super simple.
All you need to make homemade iced hibiscus tea:
- Big Heart Tea Co. Blushing tea – 2 bags
- Water – 2 cups
- Honey – 1 tbsp (adjust to taste)
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Lemon slice – 2 slices
- Mint – 2 springs
- Dried rose (optional) – for garnish
- Heat water to 185 degrees, please don’t steep this tea with boiling water. Hibiscus flower is super sensitive to heat and will turn bitter if you add too much heat too fast. If you don’t have a thermometer handy you can visually measure the water temp by how fast the steam is coming out of your kettle. Look for steam rising that is slow and billowy (not fast and violent, like at boiling temps).
- Steep for 15 minutes.Â
- Set to the side and let the hibiscus tea cool to room temp.Â
- Add lemon juice, honey and fresh mint. Stir everything together.
- Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices and dried rose.
